Yes, only 14 weeks until we leave for the airport.
And once we arrive in Lisbon, here is one of the ways we will get around town. Reminds you of San Francisco, doesn't it.
Not much news to add. Half of our support letters have been sent to family and friends. The Lord has blessed with many prayer supporters and a number of financial supporters. One-third of our needed funds have come in. We are really happy for that since the first $500 is going to purchase library books for the missionary school in Lisbon which is situated on the same grounds as the conference center where we will be serving at hosts and caretakers.
Now that that amount has come in, the school principal's wife has to figure out which books to have us purchase. We have found out that it might be less expensive to purchase from Britain and have them shipped from there rather than pay excess baggage/freight and have the books go with us. Pray for guidance.
