Yes, in just a little more than six weeks from now, we head to the airport. Of course, we only have one bag packed--the one with the books your financial support helped purchase for the Missionary Kid's School located on the conference center grounds. Our little dog Abbie is trying to read one of the books. I hope the kids who read these books will have more success.
Perhaps while we are there, we will be able to witness one of the Portuguese nationals being baptized. Either of these is just slightly different than those held in our own local church here in Woodstock. 
Our prayer is that we will also be able to participate in one of the outreaches held in nearby neighborhoods. One of the missionaries in Lisbon lives in one of these high rise apartment buildings and holds regular outreaches for the children who also live there.
And finally we want to thank each of you again for your prayers and financial support. We are 90% of the way to our goal. That's just so fantastic ! We continue to praise the Lord each day.
